2009-2010 Hunting Regulations

October 31 and December 26 & 28, 2009: Antlerless Deer Only

Only one antlerless deer may be taken per day.

See page 11 for special regulations for Hampshire County Containment Area carcass transport and baiting, and for baiting and feeding wildlife on Older-aged Deer Management Areas.

The special split deer season for youth and Class Q/QQ hunters will be held on private land in all counties having a firearms deer hunting season and on the 47 specified Wildlife Management Areas and three State Forests listed on page 31.

The bag limit of one antlerless deer per day will not count towards the hunter’s annual deer season bag limit. A Class N or NN stamp is not required.
